I'm still pretty bound up in Star Wars, mostly any Jedi and Mandalorian pairing flavour as before. I finished watching Clone Wars, Rebels and The Mandalorian of the various modern spin-offs. I was excited for Ahsoka and Luke in their episodes and of course the whole show rests on Din's and Grogu's relationship. Who surprised me was Cara Dune, who just tugged at all my heart strings, and the Armorer.
Edit: I forgot this happened, but Cara Dune's actress is the Terf that got kicked from the show, which yikes. I guess time to look for trans cara dune fics.
I hope some people are writing femslash with all the female characters in the fandom, I will see if I can find more.

Modern AU with soulmates - something written on the skin of one shows up on the others skin. Obi-Wan keeps getting Shades of Orange on his, but isn't in the mindset to reciprocate due to grief. I enjoyed the coping with outside issues in here, moving on from unhealthy habits. All the orange colours are full of meaning in the fic, of course, staying on the right side of cheesy romance.

Let him be a secret sarcastic shit more. Part two focuses on Cody and Fox sexting about that encounter. Cody is slightly submissive and still a bit of a brat, absolutely lovely.

Sort of age-play mixed with dom/sub, but also not. Obi-Wan gets turned on by the thought of Cody sucking his thumb. Cody is along for the ride. I didn't think thumb sucking could be sexy and yet I have been won over. Obi-Wan makes an excellent case for it: it's a bit of humiliation mixed with Cody getting to experience childhood things he never could before mixed with desire to corrupt. This fic is way hotter than I expected and I can only say kudos.

Verd Ori'shya Beskar'gam by kaasknot . SW The Clone Wars, Plo Koon/Wolffe, Rated E, No Warnings Apply, Oviposition, Parasitism, gore, ~30.5k.
This fic. This fic is so good. Author's notes reveal it was written on a dare to sound like Victor Hugo, but it reminds me of old science fiction. The oviposition is something really rare: patterned after real life, so Kel Dor in this verse are parasitic, inject eggs into a stomach wound and the larvae eat their host from the inside. Hnnnnnng. Then the author takes that and builds a very complex ethics system of taboos upon this, because that basic biology does not mesh easily when a race becomes emphatic and sentient. Thankfully, Wolffe dodges that, kind of, because Plo Koon just needs to lay blank eggs or he will die. Then it's off: Plo Koon of course would never lay into a sentient being but Wolffe is unable to just let him die. Delicious co-dependence and fucked up feelings result in mistakes, angst and a happy ending. I really loved this one.

At first, this modern AU has a basic rom-com set up: Ahsoka is done trying to learn the piano, but her dad Anakin isn't ready to stop seeing her teacher Obi-Wan. So of course he agrees to let Obi-Wan teach him how to cook, except... he literally has a youtube channel and several cookbooks published as a professional chef. And Obi-Wan actually cannot cook, at all. I don't want to spoil too much, but the cooking class this disaster ends up with is some of the most hysterical food crimes I have read in a while. This scene alone justifies the entire fic and the rest is not bad at all. If you cook, brace yourself though. I mean it.

When Obi-Wan gets de-aged, Anakin has to take care of him. However, their force bonds stay intact which leads to miscommunication. Teen Obi-Wan is not OK.

Modern AU where mechanic Anakin falls in love with popstar Padmé, estranging him with his roommate Obi-Wan. They break away from each other, Obi-Wan starting an acting career and Anakin becoming a model, only to meet again years later. Endgame polyamory is earned here and there is delicious angst between that.

So, this fic is delicious, but only mildly fucked up? Obi-Wan was Not Okay after his master revealed himself as a Sith and skipped town with Anakin. It really hooked into his abandonment and self-esteem issues, especially since him and Qui-Gon were also involved with each other since he was 17. A decade later, he volunteers to join both Sith in exchange for vital information for the Jedi. They fall back into some old patterns, but the old unhealthy relationship hangs between them. Obviously the first relationship was entirely unhealthy between them both and it's refreshing to see it treated as such. For me, the reconciliation into a new dynamic which includes Anakin works, however this might be a hard line for many. As I think the cycle is broken, I wouldn't recommend this for people just interested in the fucked up dynamic. Obi-Wan made good use of therapy and the old issues get addressed, even if the way to it is hard. This fic walks a fine balance and if none of these were deal breakers, I urge to give it a try. Oh, also there is nerdery about Jedi philosophy!

Regular Clone Wars Anakin and Obi-Wan have to deal with Sith Anakin and his partner Obi-Wan from another dimension. Of course, their "evil" versions are together. I enjoyed how different and yet the same the dynamics among the pairs were - emotional communication or lack of it was clearly having effects. Sith Anakin and his Obi-Wan were also not as happy as they might appear at first, but also not without love.

Set in the Original Trilogy, Obi-Wan imbued his lightsaber with psychometry. As a consequence, Darth Vader starts dreaming of him after their final duel. Also has some Darth Vader/Palpatine (derogatory), so be warned about that.

I admit, I am a sucker of Luke interacting with Vader and bettering him. Luke is a simple mechanic for spoiler reasons, until Darth Vader crashes near his home on Tatooine. On a whim, he fixes his suit and gets hired.

Post ESB, Luke and Vader end up stuck in a tree and talk. Luke is endearingly hilarious as he doesn't hold back any of his opinions but still fears Vader. So he mostly puts his foot into his mouth in the best ways. His mild panic is somehow cute, mostly because it is clear he will be fine. Meanwhile, Vader is grumpy because real children, it turns out, do not always agree with their parents. In short, they are both much more alike than they wish.

There is a Witcher verse about Geralt accidentally conquering nations, this is the corresponding Star Wars version. Obi-Wan gets send as a tribute from the republic, which of course no-one knows in Mandalore, and takes over as a super clerk and diplomat while falling in love. I guess that makes these AUs SFF secretary rom-coms? If you are into that and ridiculous cheesy miscommunication, this will hit the itch.

Pre-Phantom Menace, Jango comes back to Mandalore to follow Jaster's legacy. To gather information, he kidnaps one of the pacifists. Only that's Obi-Wan on his mission to protect the Duchess Kryze. They end up talking about politics and information left out. I would say this fic gets negative regarding Satine and Qui-Gon, who are written as pushing a binary choice. Tbf I haven't read the novels of the storyline, but ultimately the True Mandalorian faction does seem the most sympathetic to me. But it can ruin the story if that's not something the reader can agree on. Oh, also there is utilitarian breat feeding.

Din gets invited by Luke to visit Grogu, who he left with Leia on Coruscant. The problem? All the while, Luke is plagued by paparazzi and rumours about him and the mysterious Mandalorian dating start to get thrown around in public. All the gossip sections were very entertaining with groan worthy headlines, Luke and Din are very cute and trying to keep their privacy, but my favourite moment was them visiting Lando's talk show, full of ridiculous games out of any late night show. Perfect casting for Lando and I am really pressed to not imagine that as hard canon.

While giving everyone else dead or alive a headache. Great concept and execution - if there are ghosts, they very much should embarrass their children/former apprentices.

Ah yes... identity porn fic. The New Republic sends Luke to Mandalore to open relations. Due to the fraught history of Mandalorians and Jedis, Luke is forbidden to tell them anything except that he is a prince and a rebel general. And then he falls for the Mand'alor and his force sensitive child, all while Din is scared that any Jedi will take his son away from him.

Told in news articles and letters, Din and Luke circle each other. Luke feels entirely too much of the universe, the public expects him to fix everything and Din keeps his mouth shut about being the new ruler of Mandalore. This sets up some amazing Hurt/Comfort!
