If the last fic was sweet and serious porn with insight into human condition, this is the crack sex and being fic that is just as fun and completely different. There is a rumour going around that once one very lucky pair of clones pulled off the vaunted Jetpack Sex. Mostly the pursuit of young clones on this has led to funny injuries, as out cast tells it. Cody tells Obi-Wan his own experience in private, after.

If I had to rec a writer in clone wars fandom, it’s probably littlekaracan so far. They write solid fic centered around little themes that don’t sound like much, but they pack a lot of emotion into it. This is a great example: Cody develops skin issue with cracking and bloody tissue on his hands after being stationed on Hoth. He skips medical, however, Obi-Wan notices and applies some salve on the wounds. Idk if I could sell it based on that outline, but the writing pulled me in. First in the hurt, even while Cody was protesting it wasn’t that bad, and then into the comfort and the pining.

You say I’m not alone, but I am petrified by CorranBlue and Crab_Lad. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated T, Chose Not To Warn, Post-Order 66, ~9k.
There is a lot of post-order 66 content out there. This fic follows the typical beats of Cody being freed and joining up with the Rebellion. Instead of leaving him in the dark about Obi-Wan’s survival or having him reunite asap, it goes a different route. Obi-Wan sends Cody messages which he watches, but he himself still feels too guilty to actually reach out. His healing process takes a while to get there and the pay-off is worth it.

For something a bit different, this entry from the current SubCody Week. Honestly, he deserves good things and in this fic he gets to drift in subspace as Obi-Wan does aftercare. Another sweet and kinky fic.

Cody, hit on the head by the stick of pining, gets the spontanous idea of gifting Obi-Wan a pet. Specifically, something very dangerous and murderous. Obi-Wan of course can bond with the thing, though he doesn’t take it with him. This fic is just cute antics of a murder baby cuddling Obi-Wan, hissing at Cody because he is a threat to the life of a lap pet and Clones ragging on Obi-Wan’s affinity with animals. I am actually surprised the last isn’t a plot point more often in Clone Wars fic. Enjoy this one for now!

A word of warning, this is a snippet of a concept and unlikely to get continued, hence me reccing it now. The idea being: Obi-Wan is also a genetically-engineered human, though he has been raised in the temple. It only could become a problem if he interacts too closely with genecists who would be interested in a synthetically produced Force user. The clones immediately close rank upon learning this but have to scrap plans, because the Jedi aren’t sure they could protect their own.

A beaten-up Cody shows up on Tattoine post-order 66 and Obi-Wan drops everything to help him, including his slowly growing relationship with Owen and Beru. The solution is a OT4, which is actually very well suited to each other when you start thinking about it.

I admit I haven’t seen the sequels, but the best boy from them time travels back to the Clone Wars to get brotherly vibes from all the vod. Amazing, really.

Dateline Felucia by Redrikki. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated G, No Warnings Apply, ~1.5k.
Outsider pov via a war reporter from the Clone Wars. The humanised portrayal in this feels very close to actual long form reporting. The fic gives a whole new angle through which to view canon.

A Seed in a Valley of Dead Flowers by Fearless_leaderr. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan, Not Rated, Chose Not To Warn, ~14k.
Obi-Wan finds his commander as a deserter after the war, with the crux that he still only remembers himself as CC-2224. They start a relationship which is not always happy because CC-2224 thinks Ben is pining for a clone named Cody from before and substituting him. If you haven’t guessed it, this is some tasty angst with several fights and bad communication. Thankfully comes with a good ending.

Seven swords for the crown by litra. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi/Rex, Rated E, Chose Not To Warn, Fairy Tale AU, ~21k.
Based on the worn out dancing shoes, the seven princes of Mandalor vanish one day every month and come back with many wounds. Obi-Wan, who really is on a different quest of his own and not advertising his status as sorcerer, gets dragged in first on request, then by the wish to stay with some of the princes even though he can’t. The fairy tale logic in this is done well and while Obi-Wan can’t fix everything, it has a satisfying conclusion!

Creation Both Haunted and Holy by Trixree. SW The Clone Wars, OC/OC, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated M, Warnings for Graphic Depictions of Violence, ~15k.
Focused on original clones of which one is Force sensitive and the squad that tries to protect him at all cost. The story of the found family is heart-wrenching and they don’t get a break, but what a happy ending they earn.

|snow on red sands| series by littlekaracan. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated M, Warnings for Graphic Depictions of Violence, ~60.5k.
This also focuses on original characters, but two not so loyal Stormtroopers who get stuck in a squad with two clones. Which sucks, until their programming slips and they start making plans of escaping the Empire together. While the clones are nice to have, I also enjoyed the original characters that were fully rounded. The pov character especially goes from lying to herself of being in the service of the Empire because that’s the best option to being betrayed and adopting younger soldiers.

Inexpressingly to Untangle by brigitttt. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated E, Chose Not To Warn, ~6k.
Told from Cody’s pov who wakes up after having hit his head with only Obi-Wan around. It’s post the fall of the republic which he doesn’t know happened. This delves into Unreliable Narrator immediately and left me tense as I read. Cody and Obi-Wan work well together and as a reader I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and the beans to spill. Worth the read, won’t spoil the ending.

Braced for impact by helpthekelp. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated T, No Warnings Apply, ~6k.
Another tight and gripping fic here: Obi-Wan is caught by Purge Trooper Cody and they are riding in an failing escape pod. As they fall, Obi-Wan tries to make Cody release him from the suppression cuffs to save them. It’s a stand-off. Cody is very done with bad superiors but still chipped, which is both heartbreaking and delightful. Let him be bitter. The tension throughout is held up again, having Cody lean either way at different points.

The Art of War series by NerJetii. SW The Clone Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cody/Obi-Wan/Rex, Rated E, Chose Not To Warn, ~25.5k.
Two fics with a lose connection: First is Anakin not knowing how much sex Cody and Obi-Wan have while Rex suffers and in the second the relationship gets widened to include Rex. There is nice smut in there!

A soulmate au that more or less follows canon: in this universe, the kiss of a soul mate can heal scars. There are different cultures around it explored as well as reasons to keep or not keep scars. Oh, and Cody and Obi-Wan are also pining for each other thinking they are not soulmates. The good shit, you know.

In which Obi-Wan is secretly a mermaid, the troopers find out when they are imprisoned together but it does work out. Really loved the scene towards the end in which Obi-Wan takes Cody swimming in the Room of a Thousand Fountains.

5 + 1 with five times Cody took care of Obi-Wan’s light saber and…. One time Obi-Wan took care of Cody’s. Yeah, the cheesy pun is straight from the author, but it does make up for things with smut.

Ballroom dances as metaphors for light saber katas, from Obi-Wan’s and Cody’s pov. Or: in a desperate situation, Obi-Wan finally manages a battle trance to defend his people.

Cracky fic where-in Cody and Obi-Wan want to get married and Anakin, the person with the worst way to keep secrets, arranges the secret wedding.

Omega Obi-Wan starts his heat while in a shuttle with Alpha-17 and needs to be helped through it with some fisting. Alpha-17 subscribes to the traditional view that holds omegas as the one in control. It becomes ot3 with Cody in the second chapter.

The cast is delightful as is the fic. It centers around Aiglamene, the only soldier of the Ninth that came back, and trying to settle in, not that most seem to appreciate her knowledge in a house build around a tomb. Until Gideon finds her and makes her her mentor, that is. Grumpy old warrior is soft for their charge, actually, and buries it really hit my in the feels. The full cast makes the ride fun too!

growing black irises in the sunshine (Podfic) by written by coasterchild, read by VictuuriAtSea. Locked Tomb Trilogy, Gideon Nav/Harrowhark Nonagesimus, Rated E, No Archive Warnings Apply, ~56 min.
This is outstanding, really. First of all, the fic is a wild AU. Gideon drives an UPS truck but streams games on the side. Harrow is a gothy cam girl. Together, they are one whole relationship! The sex, which features a new strap-on btw, is smoking hot. Gideon is wonderfully horny for her girlfriend. There is dorky roleplay from Interview with a Vampire. Around that, Gideon hangs out at Harrow’s while she is making some of her content. It’s great how thrown Harrow is because Gideon respects boundaries, doesn’t get jealous and understands the job as a streamer herself. She offers to hydrate her. This is true love, really. Then, the reading. Woooow, the reading. Victuuri has a great calm voice and the acting talent to punch home how turned on Gideon is in the sex scene. Harrow gets an accent! There is a great scene where they laugh in Gideon’s narration to drive home a dorky pun. I can’t rec the podfic version of this enough, it’s stunning.

Spoilers for the end of season one. Jenna moves into the house after she is turned and Guillermo is, understandably, really jealous which he not-understandibly projects into dislike of her. Jenna does win him over without trying, sort of.

Jesse wearing his dumb cowman outfit even in the further future is amazing. He and Hanzo fill the roles of the big DS9 slash pairing, you know who, don’t make me look this up. Overall a great crack experience even without Star Trek knowledge.

The premise of this alone: B99 in Star Trek – that’s just a normal au. But. Holt and Kevin are a human/vulcan couple but noone knows which is which. Wow, astounding, blown away by the comedic potential. This fic delivers on it.

Iron-Clad Secret Identity by cattyk8. DCU, Batfamily, Rated T, Chose Not To Warn, 6k.
More of a multimedia fic, but it is so fun. Bruce is going on talkshows to disprove he is not Batman as narrated through social media. Most of his kids are on board or horribly embarassed. The „Do The Butts Match?“ controversy is laid to rest. In short, just wonderful fun shenanigans with Batfamily fluff.

Buzzfeed Unsolved does an episode on Jason Todd’s death and the Batfamily reacts to it on camera.

A Great Flood by fascinationex. TFP, Megatron & Optimus Prime, Rated G, No Warnings Apply, ~1k.
A moment between Optimus and Megatron, sheltering from the rain while technically at war. So close to agreeing with each other but not doing so. It sums up the canon relationship pretty well.

More seal mermaid fic! This time, Percy and Brainstorm compare hands.

The Mesmer Box by DesdemonaKaylose. IDW, Megatron/Rung, Rated E, No Warnings Apply, ~5k.
Uuuuunf, this is soooo hot. Hypnotisation kink is strangely rare in fandom and this provides nicely. Rung suggests trying a white noise input box with Megatron, who agrees but doesn’t think it will do anything to him. And then Rung gets to improv soft dom. It’s unfairly satisfying, just thinking about the fic makes me remember it.

Hand of Glory by Enfilade. IDW, Dratchet, Ratchet centric, Rated T, No Warnings Apply, ~4k.
This is set in an AU where the Decepticons more or less won and the Lost Light goes on the same quest with a slightly different crew. It deals with Ratchet and his failing hands while also focusing on some medic OCs. I absolutely adore Requiem – he turns into a hearse, is naturally creepy but tries to be good at his job and maybe a bit more. Ratchet gets to accept help while also returning appreciation.

Of New Beginnings by Wolvesowl. TFP & Rescue Bots, Dreadwing & Rescue Bots, Rated G, No Warnings Apply, ~12.5k.
More great Rescue Bot content! Dreadwing defects and gets taken in by the Rescue Squad. Honestly, fic where the Rescue Bots interact with Decepticons is all I want. This fills this nicely and fits in with the tone of Rescue Bots.

Between Friends by Neocybex. IDW, Dratchet, Rated E, No Warnings Apply, ~3k.
Where to start with this? In simple terms, Deadlock has robot errictile dysfunction and as properly paranoid Decepticon, he goes to the medical provider he trusts, Ratchet, who is not, as you might guess, part of the Decepticons. Both awkward and funny and then pivots to hot because Ratchet knows what he is about.
