I have made it to week 3! Which is more impressive than you might think if you don’t know pillowfort has deleted the draft of this posts thrice already. But let’s not dwell on that.

(Spoilers, no joke) A mistaken identity, fake relationship royalty au! The twist comes from the end of Harrow the Ninth: the unwilling imperial princess Gideon tries to escape from a ball, which Harrow manages to twart by brooding in a convenient spot. Both of them agree to a fake betrothal so they can get what they want. Of course they fall ass over teakettle in love and it’s just as tropetastic as the summary makes it sound.

This is at the same time a Megatronus and Orion go camping together fic and a biopolitics of Cybertron fic. Mostly the former, admittedly, but still. Come for some nice pining between robots that won’t get resolved, stay for the sadness.

Oh. my. god. Early MTMTE exploring Drift’s & Rodimus’ relationship as they bang. This has some of the best Drift in it, still half feral, half Decepticon trying to be better by becoming everything he wasn’t. It’s a choice. Rodimus is almost equally as bad at emotions and boundaries in this. This all get wrapped up in carbon’s lovely voice which suits both Drift’s narration as a brooding knifefight waiting to happen and Rodimus’ frankly indecent moaning. Wonderful performance.

Kess made a train OC and then someone wrote them fic! It’s good fic too! Her OC is a Decepticon propaganda officer/porn star specialising in Megatron impersonation. You can guess why Tarn is in this. Besides hot porn, it also features a hilarious OnlyCons chat, worldbuilding and thoughts about sex work + sex workers under communism.

Freestyle Verse by neveralarch. TFP, Jazz/Prowl, Rated E, No Warnings Apply, ~2.5k.

A direct sequel/porn one-shot for the wonderful I’m All Full Up on Yesterdays from last week. Mostly porn with some things from Prowl’s backstory which flesh it out and give the piece a tender heart.

Patronus and the Patronus-Verse by femme4jack and senmut aka Merfilly.

Bayverse, Gen(Patronus) & several pairings (whole series), Rated T (Patronus) & up to E (whole series), No Warnings Apply & Choose Not to Warn, ~66k/~128k (whole series).

A Bayverse fix-it for Ironhide dying in DotM. Ironhide’s spark survives and he gets brought back in a fresh chasis without his memories. Around him, his family struggles between letting the new mech, dubbed Patronus, figure out his own way and being too attached to their friend. Or maybe it’s just the right amount?

Other stories flesh out this verse even more, with many pairings which are by no means exclusive. This includes mech/human interfacing. All of the interfacing is very alien and well-done, as is the worldbuilding.
