I have successfully made it through another week of fugue state in this fugue state of a year. I re-read Gideon the Ninth, so yes, there is still more Locked Tomb recs! Transformers still dominates. And finally, I (fruitlessly) checked out some german fics on the olde ao3 to maybe make podfic my mom can understand? Didn’t find anything suitable, but some german language fics sneaked in.

A short piece focusing on sick, loopy Megatron, telenovellas and the inception of the infamous Giant Purple Griffin. GeminiWishes reads even the absurd parts with deadpan humor!

Obvious [Podfic] written by pink_shoes, read by GeminiWishes. G1, Starscream/Skyfire, Jazz/Prowl, several, Rated G, No Warnings Apply, ~17 minutes.

Starscream investigates how some fleshies manage put out eeriely accurate texts about his biggest secret, his ex Skyfire. Or: Poor teenage girl gets terrorised b a jet for writing fanfic. Starscream is audibly pissed while PrincessNeko1971 is cowering. The voice acting here is on point!

the sea and its waters by darlingofdots. Locked Tomb triology, Gen, Rated M, Graphic Depictions of Violence, Harrow the Ninth spoilers, ~5k.

This AU where Gideon brings her actual sword to dinner results in the ghost on it getting exorcised much earlier. While the parts about after are kept a bit vague (due to fans not yet understanding what has actually happened in Harrow, after all), the idea is well executed and results in a scenario where everyone nice lives. Hurray!

Resturlaub von unadrift. Tatort Münster, Karl-Friedrich Boerne/Frank Thiel, Alterseinstufung T, Keine Warnhinweise, ~4.5k.

Ein sich unbewusster Boerne ist zu nett zu Thiel. Beide als Semiarschlöcher geschrieben, wie es sich gehört. Nebenbei bemerkt, es ist so komisch, in Deutsch Fanfiks zu lesen - irgendwie viel schamvoller. Aber alles in allem solide Kost.

Boerne und Thiel täuschen Boernes Mutter eine Beziehung vor, bis sie natürlich zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen werden. Die gegenseitigen Sticheleien in dieser Geschichte waren sehr überzeugend und immer wieder stilecht. Thiel wird unterhaltsam mit allen Marotten der höheren Gesellschaft bzw. der Familie Boerne belästigt. Es lohnt sich, das zu lesen.

MTMTE Simpatico meet Cyberverse!Perceptor, try to find out where Brainstorm is and maybe inadvertently hook them both up. Good times.

Service Top Tarn is truly the only way to sum it up. The general Tarn precautions should be noted and that this one doesn’t really have a happy ending, despite Tarn trying his hardest.

An au based on the post about a sub getting praised as a good girl in the tattoo parlor and getting their praise kink on, which is honestly something that should happen in every fandom. And yes, this fic earns the E rating.

Some good ass pwp about Rodimus’ quest to get properly railed by Megatron, who is playing nice at first.

In for a Shanix by gravidure. MTMTE, Sixshot/Minimus Ambus, Rated E, No Warnings Apply, Breeding Kink, Mating Cycles, Beast mode interfacing, Mech Preg mention, ~5k.

Minimus gets a surprise heat and Sixshot helps him out with his beast mode.

Look, ignore the watersports tag, it’s technically there but only for a sentence or two - not that there's anything wrong if that makes you click, but it's truly minor. No, what makes this fic interesting besides the porn is Soundwave’s outsider pov on Seeker culture and interaction. Mostly by watching the Elite Trine have sex, but that’s on him. The world building in this is where it’s at, I promise.

Team Prime gets a hot tub and cuddles in it! This whole fic is “wholesome” and fluffy.

Part of the Sea of Tranquility series by bmouse. TFP, MegOP, Rated G, No Warnings Apply, ~18k.

AU wherein Megatron successfully revitalises Cybertron, does not give into pettiness to cyberform Earth and kicks the Autobots out. It features some interesting OC scientists interacting with the bots, the establishing of a moon base and tons of MegOP pining. Delicious, delicious food.

Post-Predacons Rising, Megatron drifts into Griffin Rock on accident. No one knows him, but Prime gets alerted. It’s just… the sweetest fluff of Megatron getting to enjoy things, good things happening to Optimus and the normal Griffin Rock happenings around them. This type of fic is why I crave more Rescue Bots or RiD 2015 MegOP and it so rarely happens. Savour it.

The Autobots become aware that every Decepticon is deadly afraid of them. Every Decepticon. Because they are, after all, the successors to the functionists. Mlle writes the premise lighthearted for the sake of brevity, which makes what could be 100k+ depressing fic delightfully fun. (Not that I would, in any way, say No if Mlle wrote the other version too!) Who cares if Megatron is escaping when you are having a crisis of conscience? Certainly not Prime.
