myrdschaemA bit late to the conversation, yet still wonderful material. I have seen so many people from other fandoms turn around and get out there Venom stuff from three years ago. It's lovely - I know I got at least two podfics I did when it dropped. Good times.
Overall, I feel pretty happy about it? I'm going to admit I don't know the comics canon in-depth - I know who Carnage is, somewhat, and there seem to be hints of a third symbiote though don't ask me who. Getting the domestic scenes in the beginning is lovely and I also hope to see more Ms. Chen. She's a good egg.
If I had to throw out some speculation, I think there are some church windows behind Carnage in the end, so I am crossing my fingers for symbolic wedding/get together in a church like in the comics.
So, any one with more comic knowledge who can fill in some of the hints? Or, if you know as much as me, what did you think and did you revisit some older Venom fanworks you would like to share?
